SAP has announced that its Supervisory Board has reached a mutual agreement with Dr. Jürgen Müller, Chief Technology Officer and member of the Board of Directors, to step down from the Board, effective September 30, 2024.

Jürgen Müller has played a key role in establishing the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), which provides the technical foundation for SAP's leading-edge offering and serves more than 23,000 live customers.

Christian Klein, CEO of SAP, will assume responsibility for the majority of the Technology & Innovation Board led by Dr. Müller. The SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance team will join the Customer Services & Delivery Board area under the leadership of Thomas Saueressig.
